Learning from our previous time filming, we were able to record each shot effeiciently and therefore much more swiftly which allowed us to film more scenes in the timeframe we had. We also found the storyboard and shot list to be incredibly useful with this as having each scene detailedly planned ahead of time allowed us the smoothly film each scene. As this footage was also filmed indoors we used the same lighting and camera in order to obtain the same quietly footage. In this our protagonist had to change her costume, hair and make-up in order to represent her other persona.
Although her acting further enforced the change in personality, we also had to use other aspects of mise en scene to distinguish the personas as they were not very evident in the footage. In her 'happier' personality, we used high key lighting and warmer locations, such as the bedroom and the campfire to represent a more innocent, light-hearted character. However with the 'depressed' persona we used more gloomy locations, such as the bar to show a troubled character with the additional use of low key lighting. Using this enforced the difference in characters making the plot go the music video more evident to audiences.
